Keynote Programme

3 DAYS

Spaces for dialog

Overview

The keynote programme brings together practitioners whose work treats space, dialogue, and embodied awareness as civic infrastructure. Across architecture, peacebuilding, education, and the arts, the speakers ask what it means to rebuild not only buildings, but trust, participation, and public life. Kjetil Trædal Thorsen, Francis Kéré, Thania Paffenholz, and Daniel Proietto each bring a distinct perspective: public space as democratic ground, building as participatory learning, peacebuilding as inclusive process, and movement as a condition for dialogue. Together, they establish the intellectual and human frame for Rethinking Rebuilding.
